Gordon Anderson provided oversight and leadership of major award-winning development projects, ranging from project inception, complete public review and approval process, land assembly and associated relocations, environmental review, funding, negotiation of Design-Build contracts (including Guaranteed Maximum Price), project construction and occupancy. Each development has been recognized for environmental efficiency (several LEED-rated) and the Hayward City Hall is fully base-isolated with a subterranean garage.
Inglewood Senior Center, Inglewood, CA
The Inglewood Senior Center will be approximately 35,000 square-feet, two-story structure, with two levels of underground parking. The center is being built using the Design-Build delivery method. Amenities will include a main lobby area, multi-purpose rooms, an exercise area, billiard and game rooms, television room, computer lab, central kitchen and dining facilities for 300, and care management and transportation offices. Ground-breaking anticipated February 2016.
Hollywood Park Tomorrow, Inglewood, CA
The 238-acre site at the corner of Century Boulevard and Prairie Avenue will soon transform Hollywood Park Racetrack and Casino into a new modern community.
THE FORUM, Inglewood, CA
The Madison Square Garden Company acquired the “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood, California in June 2012 and, following a comprehensive reinvention, re-opened the celebrated venue on January 15, 2014 with the first of six historic performances by the legendary Eagles.

Santa Monica Public Library, Santa Monica, CA
Santa Monica Public Library earned the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED™) Gold rating for the City of Santa Monica. The 104,000 square-foot Main Library opened in January 2006, attracting nearly 800,000 visitors in its first year of operation. The state-of-the-art sustainable Library is a model of a user-friendly, service-oriented, and flexible facility for the 21st century. It contains the latest in information technology, Wi-Fi access, three levels of subterranean parking and amenities such as public art, a bookstore, and a café. An open and naturally lighted interior environment takes advantage of the ideal Santa Monica climate. Gardens and a 10,000 square-foot central courtyard are landscaped with sustainable plantings.
Santa Monica Civic Center Parking Structure
The Civic Center Parking Structure providing close access to the Civic Auditorium, City Hall, the Public Safety Building, and the County Courthouse. It is also a short walk from the 3rd Street Promenade, newly re-opened Santa Monica Place, and the rest of Santa Monica's central business district. This construction embodies the City's commitment to sustainability, and establishes a new aesthetic monument in Santa Monica. The parking structure is the first building of its type in the country to receive a LEED-Certified rating through the U.S. Green Building Council.
